Flagler County, Sheriff's Office, Florida Forest Service hold informational meetings

January 30, 2020 – Three county departments – Fire Rescue, Emergency Management, and Growth Management – are teaming up with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Forest Service for five informational meetings to do what they do best: protect and serve the residents and visitors of Flagler County.

“The purpose of these meetings is to inform the public about the mission and goals of our departments and agencies and the various programs we all have to offer,” said Flagler County Marshal Jerry Smith, the organizer of these community outreach meetings. “We come together in one place to give people the opportunity to get critical information on a variety of topics.”

Fire Rescue will provide information about home safety inspections, the importance of highly visible street addresses, smoke detector battery exchange, and Community Paramedicine.
