SHIP office to move

November 8, 2018 – Flagler County’s State Housing Initiatives Partnerships (SHIP) office will be closed the week of November 12 through 16 to accommodate its move from the Government Services Building to the Community Services Building. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. November 19 in its new location at 1000 Belle Terre Boulevard, Palm Coast.

The SHIP program provides funds to local governments as an incentive to create partnerships that both produce and preserve affordable home ownership and multi-family housing. It is designed to serve very-low to moderate-income families through down payment assistance, home repair, and foreclosure prevention programs.

“It makes sense for the SHIP office to be housed within the Community Services Building,” said Community Services Director Joe Mayer. “I think our residents will find this more convenient.”
