Wadsworth Park

2200 Moody Blvd., Flagler Beach

UPDATE December 13, 2018:
Parks and Recreation staff will be treating the turf at the Wadsworth Park soccer-complex on Tuesday, December 18.  Treated areas will be posted and the fields will be CLOSED to play. Watch for and obey signs.

Please note: Access to playing fields will also be restricted thoughout the evening; we will not be lighting the fields for night play on Tuesday.

Parks and Recreation treats the sports fields at Wadsworth in order to improve the health of the turf, and it’s just one tool in our department’s arsenal of techniques to provide safe, functional, and attractive playing fields.
Parks and Recreation also implements periods of “reduced usage” at Wadsworth in order to limit the wear and tear on the fields. Our turf manager oversees soil health, pest control, grass selection, and all aspects of maintenance.
Thank you for assisting our efforts; we appreciate your support.

Wadsworth Park is a 45-acre park that stays busy
both day and night because of its amenities: lighted soccer fields; racquetball, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts; two playground areas; a picnic pavilion; an elevated boardwalk; a canoe launch site; and, a dog park to entertain man’s best friend.

This park is home to many Flagler County sports leagues. It boasts a skate park, and a 60,000 square foot fenced dog park that allows dogs to run unleashed and mingle with other canines. The dog park has separated areas for large and small dogs — both provide benches for owners to watch their dogs have a ball.
